The estate of Artimino covers an area of 732 hectars of hilly land, at an altitude varying between 105 and 345 meters above sea level. The town of Carmignano is in the North, and the Arno river to the South, Florence is to the East and Montalbano to the West. The vineyards planted on the south facing hills cover an area of over 80 hectares, and the variety is typically local, plus older stumps like Mammolo, Occhio di Pernice and Cabernet, which add grace, scent and personality.
