Forest Glen Winery began producing wines in Geyserville, Sonoma County, California, in 1990. The first Forest Glen wines were released in the fall of 1992. Forest Glen Winery produces full-flavoured, smooth red wines that are aged in small American oak barrels and are ready to be enjoyed without further bottle aging.

Oak Barrel Selection California Cabernet Sauvignon

"I am very proud of these wines," says winemaker Ed Moody. "The Cabernet Sauvignon continues our tradition of making high-quality Cabernets year after year." Loaded with flavours of ripe fruit and toasty oak, this wine is remarkably soft and perfect for enjoying now. It is 100% barrel aged in American and French oak, with 100% malolactic fermentation.

Tasting- Ripe flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant and cassis explode on the palate. The texture is velvety and juicy with a nice, lingering finish.

Serving- Ready to be enjoyed without further bottle aging.

Chardonnay

100% malolactic fermentation, aged 100% sur lies, 100% barrel fermented and aged in American oak barrels for 10 months.

Grape: Chardonnay

Tasting- An elegant, smooth style of citrus flavors and tropical fruit. Toasty oak from the barrel fermentation adds complexity to the pear and apple underpinnings. Crisp, lively acidity complements the rich flavors to keep it in balance.

Serving- Serve with any grilled seafood, salmon, tuna, turkey or pork or chicken depending on sauce.
