Tempo d'Angélus is a new wine created by Angélus President Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal. It is a wine made under the Bordeaux appellation and is meant to offer all the complexity, prestige and winemaking skill of the other Angélus labels, though more approachable while young: a top-quality wine, produced from the great Angélus terroirs and made with the expertise of its teams at an affordable price.

The grapes of Tempo d’Angélus are exclusively sourced from vines belonging to Château Angélus, namely from plots acquired in 2017 for this very purpose and which are located in Castillon-la-Bataille and Sainte-Colombe, a few kilometers from Saint-Émilion, on magnificent clay-limestone slopes. It is vinified in a cellar specifically designed for it, within the 'Chai Carillon,' in which it benefits from state-of-the-art technology and all the savoir-faire of Angélus.

The palate is incredibly fresh and vibrant with soft tannins and incredible purity of fruit that lead into a finish kissed by the perfect amount of oak. Rich extraction with beautiful aromas of black cherry, cedar, black pepper with a very seductive chocolate side. Elegance and finesse with tannins that are both firm and silky... A superbly well-made Bordeaux out of the ordinary! The medium to full-bodied palate has a beautifully velvety texture and a racy backbone supporting the generous black and red berry layers, finishing earthy. ​
