Taste
With its intense red color, this wine is smooth and extremely pleasant, thanks in part to the partial aging in barriques. Aromas of cherry and violet typical of Sangiovese dominate, blending with herbal and chocolate notes from the Merlot. Dry, harmonious, and well-balanced in structure.
Food Matching
Pair it with ravioli filled with Romagna blackberry in wild sausage sauce, “stridoli” and shallots, red meats, and medium-aged cheese. Serving temperature 16-18° C.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested between late September and early October. Vinification in stainless steel, with a light aging in 25 hl barrels.
