Meticulously crafted from Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), and Petit Verdot (10%), Oreno 2022 reflects the estate’s deep-rooted commitment to precision viticulture and minimal intervention. A warm, dry growing season—moderated by cool nighttime breezes—resulted in fruit of exceptional ripeness and natural balance.
The wine opens with intense aromas of blackcurrant, plum, dried violet, and graphite, layered with exotic spice and dark chocolate. The palate is silky yet structured, driven by fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity that guide a long, polished finish. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques and bottled unfiltered, Oreno 2022 is both commanding and impeccably refined. A cellar-worthy release that will evolve beautifully through 2040 and beyond.
