Summer is here, and that means great rosé wines are ready to be enjoyed.

This week we are featuring three rosé wines from Italy and France. All of these wines can be enjoyed on their own or paired with your favourite summer dishes.

Please note: In the GTA, a $20 delivery charge applies to orders under $400 before tax.
Prices do not include taxes or bottle deposit.

2023 Leone de Castris "Five Roses"

Produced from 20-year-old vines, this is the first rosé ever produced in Italy. From the southern region of Puglia, the wine is made from the Negroamaro grape.

It has a crystalline peach-blossom colour with fruity scents of cherry and strawberry. The palate is fresh, smooth, and nicely persistent.

An excellent example of quality Italian rosé.

$24.99/btl – Case of 12

2021 Librandi Cirò Rosato "Segno"

Produced in Calabria in southern Italy, this rosato is made from the native Gaglioppo grape.

The vineyards sit in Cirò Marina overlooking the Ionian Sea. Cool ocean breezes help produce grapes with spicy and floral aromas.

This delicious rosato is deep coral-pink with delicate red berry, floral, and spicy notes. The palate shows herbal and orange tones.

Great with cured meats, appetizers, and pizza.

$20.99/btl – Case of 12

2021 Le Loup Blanc Régal Rosé

Owned by Montreal restaurateur Alain Rochard, this organic blend of Grenache and Cinsault is a crowd pleaser.

Produced in the Mediterranean region of Languedoc-Roussillon, which stretches from the Spanish border to Provence.

This is a spicy rosé, but the fruit is prominent and very fresh. It pairs beautifully with dishes such as grilled shrimp and Salade Niçoise.
