Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz account for 85% of the blend of this wine, which also includes Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão. The grapes are vinified separately both in stainless steel vats as well as granite lagares.
Ageing occurs for 14 months in two and three-year-old barriques.
In the mouth, intense and quite definite passion fruit that quickly is tinged in wild fruits, full of freshness. The alcohol is very well integrated.
After being crushed, the grapes were cooled down and trodden by foot during four hours in granite lagares and then transferred to small refrigerated stainless steel vinifying vats. Each grape variety is vinified separately. This wine was matured in second and third year French Allier oak barriques for 14 months.
